And one of the most effective methods of advertising is offering bonuses – think bonus for opening a new saving/checking account, bonus for applying for a new credit card, etc – to entice consumers to become customers of said companies.
And to be honest, these bonuses – no matter how small individually – do add up.
I have, in the past, written about free money from the government. But I always wanted to see just how much can you really get if you put all these companies and their giveaways together.
So, I went on the hunt to find as many of these bonus and giveaway opportunities as I could. It took a lot of time and research, but I was finally able to put together this list of 40 companies/websites that combined give you $5.138 .25 in free money.
1. Free MasterCard + $25 Bonus ( FREE SHIPPING)

Right now they are giving a $5 sign up bonus for anyone joining the site.

You guessed it, SendEarnings will also give you a free $5 sign up bonus if you join the site.
6. CashCrate.com – $1
CashCrate is probbaly one of the oldest sites of its kind, known as Get Paid To, also known as GPT, for short.
It is one of the first sites I came across when I first started my quest of trying to make money online.
Of course, CashCrate wasn’t enough for me to quite my job, but it did help me earn a little side money, and more importantly, it showed me it was possible to make money online despite being scammed so many times.
7. FusionCash – $5
FusionCash is a lot like CashCrate in that you can basically earn money doing pretty much the same kind of stuff you’d do on CashCrate – shopping, taking surveys, trying trial offers, etc.
8. VIP Voice (formal NPD) – Chance to win $1,000!
How about a chance to win a $1000 instead of a guaranteed $5 sign up bonus?
I mean, it won’t cost you anything but a few minutes of your time.
All you have to do is sign up with the site for free and you earn an entry to their $1000 sweepstakes.
Of course, if you wanted to actually earn money, you could participate in their paid online surveys.
Free Money from CashBack Sites
9. eBates – $5
Although it has become very popular just recently, eBates has been around since the late 90s.
It’s basically a cashback site that you can use to shop through, on just about any online store you can think of, to earn cash back.
If you do any kind of shopping online, you’d be crazy not to use eBates. It’s like leaving cash on the table when all you have to do to get it is to reach for it!
I mean, if you’re going to buy something online anyway, why not go through a site like eBates that gives you some of that money back!
Right now they are giving you a $5 bonus OR a $10 gift card to a number of participating retailing outlets just for signing up.
Not only you get that initial free $5 or the $10 gift card, you also earn free money every time you shop online through eBates.
10. MrRebates – $5
MrRebates is another site like eBates. It has over 2,300 participating stores and the number is still growing.
What makes their $5 sign up bonus particularly awesome is that you can cash out only after earning 10 bucks. So just by sign up (which is free by the way) you’re half way there.
What’s not yo like about that!
11. LiliDeals – $5
LiliDeals, with a network of over 1,200 participating stores, gives up $5 bonus on new sign-ups!

18. Sign Up for a New Credit Card – FREE $1,425
One of the best ways for a Penny Hoarder to make some serious extra cash is to take advantage of credit card sign-up bonuses. Of course, to get the most benefit, you should have excellent credit, and you should routinely pay off your credit card in full each month so you’re not paying interest. (After all, every time you pay interest, you’re losing some of the positive effects of the bonuses.)
Just recently I received over $1,300+ in credit card bonuses by selectively choosing new cards to apply for and use. All I had to do was put my regular spending on the credit card over the course of a few months.

Other Ways
40. Transfer Your Prescription to Walgreens – $25.00
I love Walgreens!
In fact, I shop there so much so that I’ve learned a few cool ways to stretch my dollar further at Walgreens.
A few years back, Walgreens made a bad move by announcing they wouldn’t accept Express Scripts insurance. Of course, it didn’t take them long to walk back from that policy, but the damage was done.
It cost Walgreens millions of customers. Yes, it was bad!
And in an effort to get these customers back, they started offering a bonus to customers who switched from other pharmacies to them for filling their perceptions.
Walgreens will give you $25 if you make the switch.
41. Teespring: A new model for selling t-shirts
A brand new way of selling t-shirts has arrived online, and sites like Teespring allow users to sell shirts that are of a great quality and don’t get created until there are enough buyers interested in the product, sort of like a shirt-on-demand business. Earnings for the campaigns can be discerned via the site’s data about the amount of shirts sold and the price per item.
