He became a firm favourite with his natural charm, relaxed humour and chivalrous behaviour. 

And during his emotional speech in the Love Island final, Ovie Soko, 28, melted viewers' hearts as he branded Amber his 'little sister,' and shouted 'MESSAGE' for the last time as he humbly voiced his fondness for partner India Reynolds, 28.

After the nation took to Twitter in their droves to praise his heartwarming words, Ovie and India came in THIRD place, leaving Molly Mae and Tommy, and Amber and Greg to battle it out for the win.

The basketball player and the former Page 3 model were stood together in front of their fellow islanders as they shared their feelings for one another, with a look-back on their journeys in the villas.

Ovie even recalled the nail colour India wore when they first met, even though he'd been on a date with Harley at the time. 

'ovie just makes my heart melt' tweeted one viewer while listening to his speech, with another adding: 'The DETAIL in Ovie’s speech.'

The final four couples were Amber & Greg, India & Ovie, Molly-Mae & Tommy and Curtis & Maura. 

During the Love Island 2019 Summer Ball, as the final four couples raised their glasses, Ovie gushed: 'All of you ladies look absolutely amazing.

'I've got to be a bit biased and say 'India, you look phenomenal' I feel like all of us guys are really lucky guys. To the final, guys!' 

During Ovie's turn to tell India how he feels, the basketball star explained: 'Since you took me on that first breakfast date, the good energy hasn't stopped since.

'You've cheered me up and made me smile and you've even had Mr Cool feeling nervous.

'If there was one thing I could change, it would have been that you would have come sooner...'

Following Ovie's heartfelt speech, India said: 'Firstly, I want to thank you for making my time in the villa so amazing. I think we can all see that you were carved by angels.

'I couldn't have prepared myself for what comes with it. You are so kind, caring and considerate. You've proven to me that chivalry isn't dead…'
