"Many Photos" - Coronation Street fans rage as Claudia mocks Ken’s late wife Deirdre – and think Tracy will murder her for it

CORONATION Street fans are raging at Claudia Colby for mocking Ken Barlow’s late wife Deirdre.

The hairdresser – who is played by actress Rula Lenska in the ITV soap – found a pair of Deirdre’s famous glasses in the cupboard while she was Marie Kondo-ing Ken’s house.

Claudia was trying to convince Ken to chuck Deirdre’s legendary glasses out

As Ken collected the things that sparked joy for him, Claudia was disbelieving about the glasses.

“You have to be ruthless,” she said.

“Old specs? How can they bring you joy? I can’t believe these were ever on trend.”

But as Claudia mocked Deirdre’s glasses, Tracy caught her and she was as furious as fans.

She shouted at Claudia: “What the hell do you think you’re doing?

“I came round for my car key, I left it when I came round last night and I find you making fun of my mother’s memory.”

She turned to Ken and said: “God your standards have dropped.”

And as she stormed out, fans were equally as furious with Claudia for mocking the legendary cobbles dweller.

Deirdre died on the show in 2015 just before her 60th birthday after actress Anne Kirkbride passed away after a battle with breast cancer.
