PEP GUARDIOLA and Jurgen Klopp are set for another head-to-head battle after being nominated for Best FIFA Men’s Coach of the year.

The bosses clashed in one of the most thrilling title races ever as Manchester City came out on top before Liverpool won the Champions League.

Beaten finalist Mauricio Pochettino also made the cut but Maurizio Sarri’s Europa League triumph was not enough for a nod.

A team of experts picked the 10-man shortlist, which will be narrowed down to three with fans, journalists, national team coaches and captains all a part of the process.

Ajax’s Champions League semi-final run saw Erik ten Hag listed as River Plate’s Marcelo Gallardo earned a place after winning the Copa Libertadores.

World Cup winners France and Copa America champions Brazil will have Didier Deschamps and Tite in line for the prize.
