THE Queen has placed a framed photo of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry directly right in front of one of Prince William and Kate Middleton at Buckingham Palace.
We got a sneak peek view inside Her Majesty’s home yesterday, as she held an audience with new Prime Minister Boris Johnson – and fans spotted the tiny detail.
Eagle-eyed watchers zoomed in on the family photos that the Queen has arranged on her table by her fireplace.
And a photo of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex has taken pride of place, in front of the snap of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
Meanwhile, on the other side of her lamp, the Queen has a picture of Prince William and Prince Harry in military uniform.
Brexiteer Boris had a private meeting with Her Majesty marking the start of his time in office, before heading to Downing Street.
It’s not the first time the Queen’s table photographs have been the topic of discussion.
Last year, fans pointed out the Queen had removed a photograph of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle from pride of place in her Audience Room.
They had originally spotted a previously unseen snap of the newlyweds on a table at Buckingham Palace when Her Majesty met George Brandis, Australian High Commissioner to the UK, on May 30.
But a week later, as composer Thea Musgrave was presented the Queen’s Medal for Music, royal fans noticed that the frame had been removed – leaving a snap of Harry and brother Prince William to take centre stage.
It’s not known why the image was removed, but it’s likely royal aides move treasured family portraits around the grand home.
It was the first photo of Meghan to appear in Buckingham Palace and it sat alongside Her Majesty’s other treasured photographs of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The Audience Room is where the Her Majesty keeps some of her most prized possessions and is situated on the palace’s first floor.
On the mantelpiece stands two 18th Century English porcelain pheasants valued at £20,000; as well as a white marble and gilt bronze clock, valued at £4,000; an English gilt mirror, valued at £30,000.
At Buckingham Palace, audiences are either held in The Queen’s Audience Room or in the 1844 Room.
The Queen gives a weekly audience to the Prime Minister and will also have a private audience with the Chancellor of the Exchequer new budgets are announced.
The Queen also chairs Privy Council meetings, which are held regularly throughout the year, usually around once a month.
Observant royal enthusiasts noticed during the meeting between Boris and the Queen, that the royal has been cooling down with a Dyson fan.
A trendy £550 metallic Dyson could be seen in the corner of the room as Boris bowed to the Monarch yesterday afternoon.
One Twitter user wrote: “Nice to see the queen keeping cool with a @Dyson fan!! She’s officially an influencer!”
While another fan wrote: “Great product placement ! Think it was a Dyson. Their marketing team need to get on it straight away”.
