"Many Photos" - California couple attacked in their own driveway

Shocking footage shows the moment a California couple were attacked in their driveway by a gang of youths who began fighting on their property.

The incident happened at around 11.30 pm on Sunday night along the 900 block of Henry Long Drive in the Weston Ranch area in Stockton. 

Stockton police said that a group of unknown individuals assaulted a man and woman in the neighborhood.

A mother-of-four who was brutally kicked and punched in the head and body said she felt the attack was neverending. The couple were set upon outside their Stockton home on Sunday night after they asked two women fighting to leave their driveway 

Police said there were around four to five male and female suspects, who are known in the area, involved in the assault. 

The couple, who did not give their names, spoke about how the terrifying incident unfolded as they were taking trash outside and were set upon by the vicious gang.

The female victim, a mother-of-four, was kicked and punched in the head and face multiple times. She was later treated at a local hospital for her injuries and told how she had to undergo a CAT scan.

The incident was captured on surveillance footage, which shows the mob jumping on the husband and wife and hitting them. 

As she pointed at severe bruising on her face, she told CBS Sacramento: 'I have black eyes, my ears, my arms, my elbows. It's crazy, I was so confused because I was hit in the face multiple times and kicked in the head. It was never ending.

'The fact that it happened in 30 seconds, it seemed like five minutes.'

Her husband tried to protect her but had to leave briefly to go inside and call 911 on his cellphone. When he left, they continued to beat his partner.

He recalled: 'Next thing I know, F-bombs are dropped, they're telling me who do I think I am.

Footage shows around four to five men and women viciously beating the woman as her husband tried to intervene and help her, but he also traded blows with the gang 

The woman lies on the ground as her partner is set upon by the youths, after the couple were taking out trash and asked the suspects to leave their driveway 

'They turn around and next thing I know, more people are coming out of nowhere, just coming down the street. 

'If I had not have been over, who knows what would've happened to her. 'Just to have something like this happen is appalling.' 

Before they left, the gang vandalized their truck which was parked in their driveway, where blood stains are visible from where the vicious attack happened. 

Stockton police department issued surveillance video of the attack on its Facebook page on Wednesday in the hope that the suspects can be identified.

The woman was treated at a local hospital for her injuries and released. She is seen above being helped by her husband following the horrifying attack 

The female victim spoke to CBS Sacramento and showed her injuries, which included severe bruising on her face. Her husband said the attackers appeared to come out of nowhere 

The couple's neighbor Patrick Varvell said he thought the woman had spilled something on herself as she was 'covered in blood.'

He told Fox 40: 'I look on my phone and I check my cameras and I see my two neighbors on the right side of me just running across my driveway. 

'She just comes running over asking for help. So I, of course, let her into the house here and turn the lights on and found it was not a drink. She was covered in blood.'  

Police spokesman Joe Silva told Fox 40: 'If you look at the video, there’s about four to five people, both males and females. 'And we believe that they possibly are known to that neighborhood.'

A $10,000 reward is being offered for any information leading to an arrest.
