DI FEDE (nap) bolted up in a competitive Listed race at Ascot on soft ground last October. She ran another sound race when returned to that track at the Royal meeting when fifth in the Group 2 Duke Of Cambridge Stakes before putting up a solid show in France.

The forecast rain should tip the balance in her favour.

TRICKY DICKY (4.30 Pontefract, nb) has won twice from three visits to this track. His sole defeat here came when beaten a neck on ground faster than ideal four weeks ago.

Today’s conditions will suit him better.

HAUL AWAY (3.00 Uttoxeter, treble) won four times over hurdles last summer. He’s the type to do well switched to chasing.
