"Many Photos" - Moment Uber driver struggles with steering wheel that popped off in her hands mid-ride

An Uber passenger got a shock when his driver's steering wheel popped off in her hands mid-ride.  

Twitter user _shawndagoat, of Cairo, Georgia, posted a now viral video of the incident on Wednesday, writing 'My Uber driver stirring [sic] wheel came off' along with three crying face emojis.  

In the clip, the supposed Uber driver can be seen turning the steering wheel left and right while a variety of lights blink on the dashboard of the stopped car. She can also be seen lifting the wheel off the steering column and attempting to push it back into place. 

Twitter user _shawndagoat shared a video of his Uber driving fiddling with the steering wheel that came off in the middle of the ride. The driver can be seen trying to put it back on the car

As she struggles with the steering wheel, she can be heard saying 'OK' as Seal's hit single Kiss From a Rose plays loudly in the background.

The video itself is captioned: 'y'all the steering wheel came off mid ride.' 

_shawndagoat tweeted that 'she got no tip no stars no nun we jump df out, f**k the money I almost died dat day. "U CAN LET US OUT RIGHT HERE MAM."' 

He later noted, that at 'the end of the f**ken day it don’t matter if I tipped her or not she already new [sic] it wasn’t the 1st time it happen ,SOO what if we was on the interstate and her steering wheel came off? A whole lot of people would’ve been involved and a reck [sic] could’ve happen.' 

_shawndagoat noted that he didn't leave the Uber driver a tip and gave her no stars after jumping out of the car 

It's unclear where _shawndagoat (pictured) was when he ordered the Uber ride and whether he has reached out to Uber to provide more details about the incident

The Uber driver's car was an old Land Rover, he said. 

Uber's support Twitter handle tweeted to _shawndagoat that 'this safety issue was brought to our attention. At Uber we take safety seriously and would like more details regarding this trip'.

It's unclear where exactly the ride took place and if _shawndagoat has replied to Uber and sent them any additional information about the trip. 

A Uber spokesperson told Fox News Autos that they are investigating the incident, but were not yet able to confirm that the women in the video was an Uber driver.
