Director Tarantino arrived shortly after his leading stars, with his wife Daniella on his arm. The filmmaker, 56, wore all black while his wife, 35, stunned in a backless red evening gown.
The pair met back in 2009 while the director was promoting his film Inglorious Basterds but didn't start their relationship until around 2016. They became engaged in 2017 after a year of dating, and enjoyed a star-studded engagement party in September that year, marrying in 2018.
This is the Jackie Brown director's first marriage. He was previously linked to the likes of Ali Later and Kathy Griffin.
Tarantino received a standing ovation when it premiered in Cannes in at the end of May and the film received glowing praise from the audience who stood for seven minutes once the credits rolled, according to Deadline.
After the screening, Tarantino said: 'To my wonderful actors, producers and the studio that helped me make this movie. Thank you for being such a fantastic audience, for the first time we ever showed it to an audience. See you on the Croisette!'
The screening marked 25 years to the day since Tarantino premiered his award-winning feature Pulp Fiction during the film festival.

Dakota Fanning plays Lynette 'Squeaky' Fromme who was a member of The Manson Family, who, while not involved in their famous murders, did try to assassinate US President Gerald Ford.

The Girls actress, 33, put on an eccentric display as she took to the red carpet clad in a feathery trimmed gown with a sequinned bodice. The quirky gown was adorned with fuchsia pink and burnt orange feathery trim which snaked its way down one shoulder and the garment's asymmetric hem.
Adding a touch of sparkle, the dress also featured a holographic tangerine-hued bodice, cutting high on the star's toned legs. The Catherine Share actress boosted her height with a pair of black platform heeled sandals. Her brunette tresses were styled sleek and straight while her pretty features were enhanced with orange eyeshadow, feline flicks of liner and rose gloss.
Lottie Moss ensured she was dressed to impress when she attended the premiere. The catwalk queen, 21, went all out, wearing a black PVC mini-dress that featured an epic train.
Lottie's showstopping ensemble featured a sweetheart neckline and ruching across her lithe figure.
The super short hemline at the front of the dress ensured her long pins took centre stage as she stormed the red carpet in black heels.
Lottie decorated her décolletage with a diamond necklace and matching earrings. The blonde beauty styled her hair in Hollywood waves and enhanced her face with a slick of radiant make-up.
Jamie Laing and Spencer Matthews seemed thrilled to have nabbed an invite to the event. The men seemed to have compared notes, each going for a grey blazer and white Tee look.
Once Upon A Time In Hollywood is Tarantino's first movie not being released by Harvey Weinstein. Tarantino has famously stated that he will only direct 10 movies in his lifetime - this being the ninth.
It was recently revealed that the Hollywood veteran and actress Uma Thurman have been discussing ideas for Kill Bill Volume 3 - which would potentially be his 10th movie.
He teased a few days ago that he and Uma - who played the lead in 2003's Kill Bill and the 2004 sequel Kill Bill Volume 2 - were 'literally talking about it last week'.

Speaking on MTV's Happy Sad Confused podcast, Tarantino said: 'Me and Uma have talked about [a third Kill Bill] recently. Frankly, to tell you the truth, I have thought about it a little further. We were talking about it literally last week. If any of my movies were going to spring from my other movies, it would be a third Kill Bill.'
With his 10-film retirement plan, if the stalwart filmmaker decides on a different project for his next film, this could scupper the chances of seeing Kill Bill 3 happen.
But there is a cloud around the Kill Bill series, with Tarantino himself stating recently that Kill Bill Volumes 1 and 2 are, in fact, one two-part film - suggesting that a Kill Bill Volume 3 would simply be an extension of project.
If this is the case, Tarantino could be set to produce this third chapter as well as another separate film after all.
Once Upon A Time In Hollywood is set to be released on August 14 in the UK.
