IRISH firecracker Maura Higgins felt “horny” the entire time in the Love Island villa.

But viewers saw the ring girl moaning at partner Curtis Pritchard for failing to give her an orgasm.

In her first chat since finishing fourth with the professional dancer, Maura, 28, said: “The ‘fanny flutters’ were happening a lot of the time.

“To be honest, I’m glad Curtis had some control because I certainly had no control.”

Curtis, 23, denied claims he ignored Maura’s flutters to keep his clean-cut image and pursue a dream of appearing on Strictly alongside his brother AJ.

He said: “I decide to keep stuff like that private. What I do is what I do — and I only want Maura to experience that.”

Maura then added: “It was more about keeping people awake. Curtis knows how loud I am.”

He piled on the pounds during his stay, which did not go unnoticed by Maura who referred to him as a cheesecake rather than a beefcake.

He said: “All the other lads were in incredible shape. I like to go up and down.

“When I’m dancing I’m up, when I’m enjoying myself I like to eat.

“I probably gained a couple of pounds. But I enjoyed it, that’s the thing. It’s the first time I have just been myself.”

Maura’s frank sex chat during Love Island led to her being labelled a “feminist icon” by viewers, which is a title that bemuses her. She said: “I’ve been myself the whole time.

“I don’t see a problem with women talking about sex at all. We’re all human at the end of the day.”

The professional dancer opened up about his weight gain, saying that when he’s not dancing he likes to eat
