Viewers took to Twitter to complain about the result, with many feeling Amber and Greg’s 12 day romance didn’t deserve to win.

One wrote: “Molly-mae and tommy should’ve have won!!!!!!! LOVE ISLAND IS A FIX.”

Another added: “Fix! Nothing more to say.”

A third tweeted: “I don’t even watch Love Island but that was a fix molly mae and tommy have been together from the beginning yet Greg comes in 2 weeks ago and wins?????”

A fourth agreed: “Sad love Island rant coming up. I can’t actually believe that Tommy and Molly May didn’t win their boyfriend and girlfriend and they have Fallen in love it’s called Love Island and I’ve lost you a couple that have been together for 5 minutes.”

To which another replied: “So true. They were robbed”.

Many viewers were turned off by social media influencer Molly-Mae over her “fake” tears and soppy relationship with boxer Tommy.

Fans launched a campaign to stop the pair from winning the show – despite being the only official couple left in the villa.

It certainly paid off for beautician Amber and rugby player Greg who will now become millionaires by Christmas, with Amber likely to bag a £250,000 clothing line deal this week.

However some viewers still felt like victory should have been Tommy and Molly-Mae’s.

One wrote on Twitter: “I thought I’d feel better after I slept on it, but I don’t. Tommy and Molly were robbed.”

A second tweeted: “I’m glad Amber won. But it wasn’t a joint ‘love win’. Tommy and Molly-Mae were robbed!”
