"Many Photos" - Hampstead stabbing: Man, 20, killed and another, 22, injured in horror double knife attack in North London

A MAN was killed and another injured in a horror double stabbing in North London last night amid the capital’s knife crime crisis.

Cops rushed to the scene in Boundary Road, South Hampstead, at around 11:45pm to reports two men had been injured.

They found a 20-year-old man and a 22-year-old man suffering stab wounds, Scotland Yard said.

Both were taken to a London hospital where the unnamed 20-year-old was pronounced just after 12:30am this morning.

Officers believe they know the victim’s identity and are working to inform his next of kin.

The 22-year-old man is not thought to have been critically injured, the Met Police statement added.

NO ARRESTS

Murder cops have launched an urgent investigation and there have been no arrests.

It’s the latest in a harrowing spate of bloodshed as London’s violent crime crisis continues to spiral out of control.

A Metropolitan Police spokesman said of last night’s attack: “Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 quoting CAD 10016/july25.

“To remain anonymous, call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

“Young people who have information about violence or knife crime can visit fearless.org where they can pass on information anonymously.

“Fearless is part of the Crimestoppers charity, and is also independent of the police.”

SPREE OF VIOLANCE

Last month, London was left reeling after three killings in just 24 hours.

It included the deaths of two teenagers – who were killed just 12 minutes apart in separate gun and knife attacks.

New PM Boris Johnson has launched a recruitment drive for 20,000 new police officers across the UK over the next three years.
