"Many Photos" - Disney fan shamed for her Mickey Mouse engagement ring that’s ‘so tragic’ it made one woman ‘throw up in my mouth’

A BRIDE-TO-BE has been mocked online for her Disney-themed engagement ring.

The woman’s giant sparkler was branded “corny” and “hideous” when it was posted to Facebook group That’s It, I’m Ring Shaming this week.

The ring is centred around a huge circular diamond, which has two glittering “ears” attached at the top.

It’s set on a sturdy shimmering band.

Bizarrely, it came in a bright pink Poké Ball – usually reserved for storing Pokémon in the Japanese cartoon – with the words “I choose you” etched on the inside.

Snaps of the jewel were posted anonymously to the group, alongside the caption: “I love Pokemon as well but damn she did it dirty by making the Pokeball pink and putting a hugea** Disney ring inside [sic].”

The post sparked quite a reaction from other Facebook users, quickly racking up dozens of comments.

And unfortunately for the bride-to-be, people weren’t particularly kind about her bling.

One group member wrote: “I f***ing love Disney but you wouldn’t catch me dead wearing that monstrosity.”

Others said: “I just threw up in my mouth,” “There is really a grown a** adult somewhere wearing a Mickey ring?” and: “Aw that would be cute for a six-year-old.”

Another simply asked: “Are people really this corny?”

Other members of the Facebook group didn’t seem to be fans of the blingy piece

One commenter labelled the piece “cheap”, hitting out: “I don’t like how it’s flat. Like the band is flat and has those rectangular stones. Looks cheap.”

Then there were those who just couldn’t deal with the Disney and Pokémon crossover.

“It’d be acceptable to me if the ring was like Pikachu or some s***,” read one message.

“The mismatch throws me off more than the f***ing ring being hideous.”

Another added: “They should’ve got her a GOOFY ring since she accepted this tragedy of a ring.”

Meanwhile, a bride-to-be’s QVC heart-shaped engagement ring has been cruelly slammed by people who say it “made their eyes bleed”.

This bride was ridiculed after wearing a £600 Jacquemus straw hat on her wedding day – which was SO big guests couldn’t see her face.

And one woman bucked tradition by asking everyone to wear white to her wedding as she didn’t want the day to be “all about her”.
