CHELSEA have lost Daishawn Redan to Bundesliga side Hertha Berlin in a £5million transfer.
The 18-year-old scored 42 goals in just 73 games during his time at the Blues’ and Ajax’s youth teams.
Hertha Berlin tempted Redan into heading to Germany by offering a regular action in the first XI.
West Ham, Everton and Leicester have all thought to have been chasing Redan at point or another this summer.
But Hertha won the race, despite interest from Borussia Monchengladbach – who were thought to be willing to offer around £8.5m.
Redan – naturally a winger or No10 – joined Chelsea from Ajax in 2017.
The forward scored in Chelsea’s UEFA Youth League final defeat to Porto last season.

Redan also won the Under-17 European Championship with Netherlands in the summer of 2018.
He has caught the eye of a host of European clubs thanks to his knack of scoring goals.
The talented young Dutchman could be just the latest star from Holland to make a move this summer.
