ARSENAL fans believe they already have Aaron Ramsey’s long-term replacement in youngster Joe Willock.

Gunners supporters couldn’t help but get excited after the midfielder starred in a pre-season win over Bayern Munich.

An own goal from Louis Poznanski and Eddie Nketiah’s late goal ensured Arsenal ran out 2-1 winners to give them a glimmer of hope going into the new campaign.

Another positive to take from the performance was that of Willock who lined up alongside a strong starting XI. 

The 19-year-old caught the eye after a dominating performance in midfield against the likes of Thiago Alcantara and Corentin Tolisso.

He’s barely had the chance to impress boss Unai Emery having made two Premier League appearances last season but with Lucas Torreira, Matteo Guendouzi and Mohamed Elneny all absent, he is making the most of this opportunity to impress.

And fans have even likened him to Barcelona legend Andres Iniesta and believe he is ready for a crack at the Premier League.
