She is set to return to the show that made her a star as a guest on Judges Houses.
And Leona Lewis has exclusively told MailOnline that despite being crowned X Factor champion in 2006, she previously clashed with Simon Cowell over some of her song choices.
The 33-year-old songstress made the surprise revelation as she is set to join Amber Lambert to judge Ayda Williams' Overs category next weekend, and will also appear as part of a star-studded audience alongside Simon choosing from the Girls.

Speaking about her time on the ITV primetime favorite, Leona confessed she and Simon didn't always see eye-to-eye on her song choices, after the music mogul joked that he always won out in the end.
She said: 'Please, I always win! No, you have to know when to pick your battles. There were definitely a few weeks I remember where Simon wanted me to do one song or another and I was like, 'No!'
'I remember there was one song they picked for me and there was all this weird production on it and I was like, 'No way, everything has to be stripped back'.
'Knowing your battles but also knowing when someone is right, that's just as important. It's hard for me because I'm very stubborn, but sometimes he was right! It was fun working with Simon but we certainly did have our battles!'

And even 12 years after being crowned the winner, Leona added that she still has a clear idea of her favourite moment from being an X Factor hopeful.
She added: 'On the show was the first time I got to sing with a big band behind me, I’d never had that experience and I remember it being so amazing and thinking how much I’d love to do that again. Since then I’ve sung with big bands and even with a 100 piece orchestra which was a dream come true.
'My advice would be to take in each moment and really be in it. Especially with some of the performances by the overs, I saw that they were in their head a lot and not in the moment.
'It’s so important, especially when I look back at what I did on the show. It does go by so fast. You really have to enjoy it and put your best foot forward. You must know what you’re doing and practice, but as soon as you get up on that stage you have to let it all go and really enjoy it.'

This year's Judges Houses has seen an array of stars joining the panel in choosing which hopefuls will make it through to the live shows.
Among them is American Idol runner-up Adam Lambert, who since appearing on the show in 2009 has gone onto have staggering success, including a worldwide tour with the rock band Queen.
As he also worked with Leona to judge the Girls and the Overs, Adam confessed that he was surprised at how different the two categories were, particularly due to their varying age and experience.

He said: 'It was a different energy at Simon’s house. It was interesting to size up the competition, because with the overs there’s more life experience, a little more life to tap into emotionally and more life to help them polish their talent.
'But the younger group that Simon has are not as polished, they are raw, they’re promises of something to come. It’s interesting seeing both sides of it.
Sharing his advice towards the contestants he added: 'It’s not easy, but I think at this point everyone knows what’s going on and they just want to help.
'I think having hung out with Simon at his place and now with Ayda and Robbie, they are seeing these people come to the show with dreams and a mission, or something to prove to themselves, their family or the world. I think at the end of the day the criticism is usually always constructive, I think the contestants know that.'

But as a man all too familiar with Simon's tough critiques, Adam also said: 'Yeah, he’s spicy but he’s blunt! Here’s the thing, it saves a lot of time!
'You can sit here and blow smoke, say a bunch of nice stuff and candy coat things but it’s not going to get through to them. They are still in the midst of the adrenaline which comes when you perform.
'What Simon’s so good at is cutting to the point and you hear it as an artist, on that stage in the midst of all the adrenaline. You’re like, ‘OK, got it!”, his clarity is powerful.'
