New photo New York based Model Elyse Taylor wants more work with Australian brands

Despite now living in New York, Elyse Taylor says she wishes she did even more modelling for Australian companies, as her work often keeps her overseas.

She told The Daily Telegraph: 'This is my home. This is where my family is, my parents are here, my true good friends'. 

The 31-year-old added that she is always 'badgering' her Australian agency to 'bring her home'.

 

Elyse has been in the industry since she was discovered at 16 and made the big move to New York at 17.

She has graced the cover of Vogue, Elle and Harper's Bazaar and also stepped onto the catwalk as a Victoria's Secret Angel. 

Aside from juggling a busy modelling career, she is also a doting mother to four-year-old Lila Louise Campbell. 

She shares Lila with her former husband, Seth Campbell. 

The model says that being a mother has not stood in the way of her career on the catwalk and beyond.  

'When I started, it was like 'At 25, you're over the hill' but I'm still modelling, with a daughter,' she told the Daily Telegraph.    

Although her lifestyle means she is constantly on-the-go, and her days vary constantly depending on her schedule, Elyse said she always strives for balance. 

'When I’m in New York, my focus is on being a mother and spending time with my daughter. 

'And when I travel, it’s sleeping when and where I can and working and finding a balance between both,' she told The Daily Mail.
