A thrill seeker who died in a wingsuit jump gone wrong sent a serene photo to his mother only moments before the fatal accident.
Gwillym Hewetson, from New Zealand, jumped to his death off a Swiss mountain after something went wrong as he glided off the edge in a wingsuit.
Only a little more than a year ago, Mr Hewetson mourned the death of his skydiving partner Matthew Ciancio after the veteran freefaller's parachute failed to open.

Mr Hewetson's mother Robyn told the NZ Herald her son was 'agile' and 'mobile' from a young age.
The extreme sports junkie had gone through it all, from skydiving to base jumping to wingsuit flying.
Though his passion kept him away from home for great lengths of time.
The last time Robyn saw her son was in February this year, when the pair were in Hawaii, where Mr Hewetson worked as a professional skydiver.
They were both sitting on the beach and eating fish tacos after a tandem jump when Mr Hewetson turned to his mother.
'He said, 'look Ma, I know you think you're frightened, you think you are a frightened person, but I watched you ... you brought us up by yourself in a foreign country ... you're the bravest woman I know, you taught me to be brave,'' Robyn said.
Mr Hewetson's sister Frith said her brother had planned to keep to the sport until he was 40-years-old, when he would set up a company of his own in Melbourne.
Robyn said she would frame the last photo her son sent her as a reminder of his love for larger-than-life adventures.
