MARIAH Carey has once again proved she’s still a diva as her assistant was roped in to protect her from the rain last night.
The 48-year-old songstress was enjoying a date night with her toyboy boyfriend Bryan Tanaka, 35, at Craig’s Restaurant in Los Angeles when the heavens opened.
Making sure to not get a drop of rain on her designer threads, Mariah had her assistant escort her to her waiting car with a large umbrella.
The Grammy Award-winning singer managed to remain glamorous in a hot pink leather biker jacket, black mini skirt and towering heels.
Despite the wet weather, she kept her hair dry – and her shades firmly on even though it was dark.
Mariah recently released sassy track GTFO – which fans are convinced is about ex-fiancé James Packer.
The track is her first since the split, and she sings about a “knight in shining armour” who “took her life for granted” and “bulldozed” her heart.
Mariah became engaged to the Australian billionaire in January 2016, but they had broken up by October.
In November 2017, James paid Mariah a multi-million dollar settlement in response to a lawsuit she pursued, citing an “inconvenience fee.”
She has since found love with dancer Bryan, who she started dating shortly after splitting from James in late 2016.

The pair first met back in 2006, when Bryan was hired as a backing dancer for her Adventures with Mimi tour.
Speaking to E! News about the early days of their friendship, the dancer said: “She saw something in me that I actually didn’t recognize at first, from that it was over.
“It was set in history that we were gonna be connected some way, somehow.”
