New photo Fans slam The Bachelor Nick Cummins after he says he'll 'buy the girls a drink' if he sees them

Nick 'The Honey Badger' Cummins sat down with The Sunday Project for an explosive interview on his decision to pick no one on Thursday's Bachelor finale.

But it's his final message for the shattered contestants that left viewers seething on Sunday night.

Fans took to Twitter to slam the 30-year-old after he said he'd buy the contestants a drink if he saw them again.

Speaking to Lisa Wilkinson, the former footy player said: 'To all the girls, I went through a lot a lot of stuff.

'And I just want youse (sic) all to know, if I ever see you again I'll buy you a drink and say hello for old times sake.'

The former Wallabies player added that he'd change nothing about his time on the show despite walking away alone.

'As far as I had control, I wouldn't do anything differently. For what was in my grasp, I'm happy,' he told Lisa.

Both statements left viewers of the interview angry with a slew of Tweets posted that attacked the Northern Beaches resident.

'What a first class f**kwad! "If I see any of the girls out I'll buy them a drink for old times sake" hope they throw it in your face d***head!' on viewer Tweeted.

Another wrote:  'Nick says he "wouldn't change a thing" if he could go back in time. Yus waste women's time and hurt and embarrass them again and again!! Why not!!!!'

Yet one more chimed in: 'I mean, that interview told us all we needed really about Nick - bit of a p***k'.

However some sided with Nick, with one fan asking, 'am I the only woman in Australia who thinks Nick didn't do anything wrong?'

The responses come after Nick's now infamous rejection of both finalists Brittany Hockley and Sophie Tieman during Thursday's finale.

During the Sunday Project interview, Nick admitted that he in fact had the deepest feelings for Brooke Blurton, for left the show of her own accord before the finale.

Lisa suggested that the 'kisses were deeper' between Nick and Brooke, as was their eye contact, and the former footballer agreed, calling her the 'one that got away'.

'The eyes don't lie,' the former Wallabies star confessed.

When asked if he felt Brooke was 'the one that got away' Nick confessed that the Perth-based beauty was.

'Yeah, there was something left unsaid, there were a lot of emotions left swirling around. She got away in that regard,' he admitted.
