WISSAM BEN YEDDER paid tribute to Emiliano Sala after his goal put Barcelona on the brink of a shock Copa del Rey exit.
The Frenchman dedicated his strike to the missing Cardiff City star as Sevilla triumphed 2-0.
After his goal, the 28-year-old lifted up his top to reveal a heart-felt message on his t-shirt.
It is understood that the message said: “For my brother. Strength. E.Sala.”
Sala is feared dead after his plane went missing over the English Channel as he made his way to Wales.
Andre Silva slipped the ball to Ever Banega, who hammered the ball across goal to Ben Yeder who was waiting at the back post for the tap in.
The former Toulouse star’s goal made it 2-0 after Pablo Sarabia broke the deadlock in the 58th minute.
The Spaniard opened the scoring with a strike from close range after Quincy Promes delivered a ball into the box.
Valverde was forced to introduce the likes of Philippe Coutinho and Luis Suarez when he side went behind.
Suarez came close to scoring, but the former Liverpool star dragged his shot wide of the woodwork.

Valverde’s side had scored in their last 39 games, but failed to break through Sevilla’s tight-knit defence.
Barcelona now have it all to play for when they welcome Sevilla to the Nou Camp on Wednesday.
