The Rolling Stones have postponed their tour of America and Canada so that Mick Jagger can receive medical treatment.
The band, which also includes Ronnie Wood, Keith Richards and Charlie Watts, announced Saturday that frontman Jagger, 75, was told by doctors “he cannot go on tour at this time”
A statement shared on the band’s Twitter page added that the rocker “is expected to make a complete recovery so that he can get back on stage as soon as possible.”
Jagger said in a separate message to fans on Twitter on Saturday afternoon that he hates letting them down but he’s “looking forward to getting back on stage as soon as I can.”
