RAPPER was an impressive winner the last time he tackled this course and distance in January. He can be forgiven a modest effort at Fakenham last time because he never went a yard and something was clearly not right on the day.
He’s had a little break since then and can bounce back here.
Dr Sanderson looks progressive and battled well to win at Ffos Las last time out. He steps up in distance here which should bring improvement.
Smackwater Jack should find this a lot easier than the red-hot novice handicap final at Sandown last time. He is another who won on his last run over course and distance.

HENLLAN HARRI needed the run at Sandown last time coming back from a long break. His form was rock solid before that with a win on his chasing debut before a good second at Uttoxeter. He is 2lb higher than that and should run well.
This small field may help Marchilac get back to form after two poor runs since coming back from a break. He went well on his last visit here, which should help.
Cresswell Legend makes more appeal than Fox Appeal and his recent breathing operation should help.

Richard Johnson got a good tune out of SNAPDRAGON FIRE when winning over course and distance last time and they should go well again.
He is on a fair mark stepping back into handicap company and he could have more to offer.
Potters Midnight won well at Lingfield two starts ago and has held her form well, including when a close-up fourth at Fakenham last time. She is handicapped to go close again.
Court Royale wasn’t beaten far at Taunton latest and has gone well here before.
LATEST IN HORSE RACING

TIMOTEO has already left his hurdles form behind with two convincing wins as a chaser. He had 13 lengths in hand at Stratford on debut and stepped up on that when scoring at Kempton last time.
This trip is ideal and there should be more to come despite a 10lb rise in the weights.
Valseur Du Granval was beaten less than a length here last time and should hit the frame again although he rarely gets his head in front.
Railroad Junkie needs to bounce back from a poor run at Huntingdon after a couple of good efforts at Taunton.

SILK RUN continues in good form and was a solid third at Warwick off this mark last time. She had earlier won back-to-back races at Bangor including over a similar distance to this.
Her best form would see her go very close.
Mabela had a bit left in the tank when winning at Huntingdon last time out given she came from a long way off the pace. A 5lb rise gives her a chance of following up.
Midnight Target didn’t fire over fences last time but was earlier a good second in a hurdle here and looks on a fair enough mark.

DELEGATE can get the better of three rivals in a modest race even for hunter chase level. He was last seen in an Aintree Grade 1 albeit half a furlong behind the others. He won a fair novice chase around Musselburgh before that so has some ability.
Hidden Charmer was second in the pointing field last time and can chase him home.

DIEU BENISSE is worth another chance despite falling on both his hurdles start so far. She was arguably going better than anything when taking a late tumble here last time and there isn’t a lot to beat here.
Absolute Jaffa improved on her debut effort when less than three lengths off the pace at Market Rasen last time and should take another step forward.
Darling Du Large was collared on the run-in at Newcastle latest and should get home easier on this better ground.
