PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN star Thomas Meunier hilariously asked his Twitter followers for streaming link to watch the Checkatrade Trophy final.
Sunderland takes on Portsmouth at Wembley with the attendance expected to surpass the 80,841 record crowd for a final and one Belgian will be there in spirit.
The 27-year-old was inundated with responses from supporters after tweeting: “Does someone have a streaming link for Portsmouth-Sunderland? Thanks.”
The PSG star also angered his own fans after liking a post celebrating Manchester United’s win over Watford, weeks after losing to the Red Devils in the Champions League.
Meunier has made no secret of his support for the Old Trafford club in the past, having followed them since he was a kid, and he was quick to show his support once again.
He said in 2017: “I’m very happy in Paris and if I finish my career there, it won’t be a disappointment, far from it. But, if one day, I had to leave Paris, why not?
“On the other side of the channel, there are the stadiums, the fans, and I’ve never hidden that I’m a big fan of Manchester United, which remains, in my eyes, the real reference in the world of football.”
