"Many Photos" - Harry Potter and Star Wars dwarf actor exposes himself at arcade slot machines dressed as a jockey

Nicholas Read, 48, has pleaded guilty to outraging public decency after exposing himself in an arcade

A dwarf actor who appeared in the Harry Potter and Star Wars films has today admitted exposing himself at an arcade while dressed as a jockey because he thought a slot machine was a urinal.

Nicholas Read, 48, was caught on CCTV walking up to a 2p machine before yanking his white trousers down and exposing himself while on a stag do.

The bizarre stunt happened as a drunken Read, who has appeared as a Goblin in Harry Potter and an Ewok in Star Wars, was at an arcade at Ingoldmells, Lincolnshire on March 2.

A member of staff approached Read who was standing by the machine with his trousers down in a full jockey outfit complete with a cap.

Read, from Stoke-on-Trent, admitted a charge of outraging public decency when he appeared at Lincoln Magistrates Court today. 

The court heard Read claimed he was so drunk he thought the arcade machine was a urinal.

The owner of the arcade said at the time: 'It's not something you see every day.' 

The 4ft 5ins actor played a Gringotts goblin in Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone and an Ewok in Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi. 

It is not the first time Read has been hauled before the courts for sexual behavior.

In 2011 he was given a suspended jail term after he was found guilty of flashing a 17-year-old girl on a train.

The offence caught on CCTV shows Read dressed in a jockey outfit walking up to a slot machine before pulling down his trousers

The coastal village of Ingoldmells in Lincolnshire saw the actor expose himself on March 2 during a stag weekend

A court heard he performed a sex act on himself in 2010 under cover of a juggler's hat for half an hour while travelling from London to Leicester next to a schoolgirl.

He also exposed himself to two medical students on a train and took a picture of one of them on his mobile phone in 2012. 

He also has previous convictions for making explicit phone calls to 'random' women from a hotel room in 1995 and has enrolled on the sex offenders' treatment programme.

Read was handed a 12-month community order today and given a 7am-7pm curfew for six months for his offence at the arcade.

He was also ordered to pay £85 in costs and an £85 victim surcharge to be paid within 28 days.
