A QUIET Welsh village was taken over by Satanic cultists who donned secret tattoos whose leader would brainwash and then rape children.
One woman — raped by the cult leader Colin Batley at 11 — said he told her she would “go to the abyss” if she did not have sex with him.
Batley, a Tesco security guard, set up the cult in Clos Yr Onnen, Kidwelly, after relocating from London.
And as locals in the well-kept estate went about their daily business, they had no idea about the horrors that Batley and his members were inflicting.
A victim eventually plucked up the courage to report Batley, 52, to police, and in 2011 Batley, the self-styled high priest of the cult, was jailed alongside his followers for a total of 36 years.
The black magic cult members even donned “Eye of Horus” tattoos, as Batley had an obsession with ancient Egypt.
The victim said: “He made me feel it was part of the religion. What Colin said, went.”
By the time she was 13 Batley was regularly having sex with her and sharing her with other cult members.
She added: “He said these were tests that would get me into The Palace where I’d be looked after by the gods.
“If I failed it would be down into the abyss — that would be hell.”
The victim — now in her 20s — bravely left the cult in 2008.
However evil Batley ordered other members to find and kill her to stop her revealing his secrets.
Thankfully she was given police protection.

Another victim said she was forced to have sex at 15 after Batley warned her she would be killed by cult assassins if she did not obey him.
Young men were also abused by the fiend and his wife Elaine, 51, at their home in a quiet cul-de-sac.
One said he was duped into having sex with Elaine.
ROTTING IN JAIL: How sex cultists faced justice
Batley was found guilty of 11 charges of rape alongside a string of other offences. A judge told him he must serve a minimum of 11 years but may never be freed.
Jacqueline Marling, 46, was jailed for 12 years. She was convicted of aiding and abetting rape, causing prostitution, indecency with a child and inciting a child to engage in sexual activity.
Batley’s wife Elaine Batley was jailed for eight years after being found guilty of three charges of indecency with a child and sexual activity with a child.
Another disiple of the cult, Shelly Millar, 39, was jailed for five years for indecency with a child and inciting a child to engage in sex.
A fifth defendant, Vincent Barden, 74, of Kempston, Bedfordshire, admitted assaulting an under-age girl and was jailed for three years.
In a joint statement from Batley’s child victims at the time, they said: “This has been a nightmare journey for every one of us and we hope this can be the start of a new beginning.
“We’ve experienced the worst that life can throw at us and all we want to do now is move forward with our lives.
“We would say to anyone else who may have experienced anything like us to dig deep and find the courage to report it — whether to a family member, a friend or the police. Don’t be afraid and don’t suffer alone.”
