The bizarre wall-mounted fish famously lip-synced and flapped along to classics like Don’t Worry, Be Happy and Take Me To The River at the touch of a button.

Billy was the surprise big Christmas gift of 2000 and became even more popular when it emerged the Queen had ordered six. He even featured in TV hit The Sopranos.

Now Billy 2.0 has a bigger repertoire thanks to his ability to work with Amazon’s Alexa, the voice-controlled virtual assistant.

If you talk to him, he will turn towards you, open his mouth and start lip-syncing Alexa’s voice.
