FANS of The X Factor were stunned to hear a shock swear word make it live to air as Louis Tomlinson congratulated one of his acts.

Viewers tuning in to the long running ITV singing contest were left gobsmacked as the 26-year-old rushed on stage to embrace his 27-year-old act Anthony Russell.

After giving the Liverpudlian hopeful a glowing review, Louis then rushed the stage, brushed Dermot O’Leary aside – and then, fans are convinced, dropped the F Word live on air.

“I’m so proud of you,” Louis gushed as he reviewed Anthony – who first tried his luck on The X Factor 10 years ago – after he sang Beyond The Sea.

“I thought it was important that you sing this song tonight cause people see how long you’ve been fighting for this opportunity,” Louis continued – noting the significance of the fact he was singing the song that lost him an audition when he was a fresh faced 17-year-old.

“You’re a fighter, you’re a real man, you’re working class, and I love you to pieces,” Louis added.

Louis was impressed by Anthony Russell’s rendition of the Sinatra classic Beyond The Sea

He raced on stage to congratulate Anthony and fans are convinced he said: “I f***ing love you!”

He then rushed onto the stage to hug Anthony.

And fans are convinced they heard him exclaim: “I f***ing love you lad!”
