President Donald Trump returned to Washington, D.C. on Sunday night with First Lady Melania Trump and their 12-year-old son, Barron, after spending the holiday weekend in Florida.
The young Trump appeared to be preoccupied with his cell phone as he was chauffeured by the Secret Service to the airport in West Palm Beach.
Young Barron also appears to have undergone a tremendous growth spurt.
Photos from last year show that he is noticably shorter than his parents - 6ft3in Donald and 5ft11in Melania.
But pictures from Sunday indicate that the 12-year-old easily towers over his mother while approaching the lofty heights of his President dad.

U.S. Border Patrol guards fired tear gas at Central American migrants who stormed the border near Tijuana, Mexico on Sunday
The Trumps return to the White House as news broke of chaos on the U.S.-Mexico border on Sunday.
U.S. Border Patrol agents fired tear gas at a large group of migrants that reportedly tried to storm the fence and enter the country illegally.
The U.S. closed its busiest border crossing with Mexico on Sunday after Mexican police broke up a protest of Central American migrants massed in Tijuana, scattering some demonstrators toward the border where U.S. officers hurled tear gas from the American side.
Traffic in both directions was suspended at the San Ysidro port of entry between San Diego and Tijuana, the busiest land border in the Western Hemisphere, the U.S. Customs and Border Protection agency said on Twitter.
Mexican police, some wielding shields, scattered migrants and protesters, many of whom rushed toward the U.S. border.
Trump’s former campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski, has been promoting a new book he co-authored with Dave Bossie
U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers repelled them with a volley of canisters emitting large clouds of gas as U.S. and Mexican government helicopters clattered overhead.
The Mexican government said later on Sunday it had retaken control of the border crossing after nearly 500 migrants tried to cross the U.S. border 'in a violent manner,' and vowed to immediately deport Central Americans who attempt to enter the United States illegally.
Trump has vowed to crack down on the entry of asylum seekers into the U.S.
The President is also returning to a stormy White House, where his Chief of Staff, John Kelly, is reportedly on his way out.
Trump’s former campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski, has been dogged by rumors that, earlier this year, he and Kelly got into a physical altercation so intense that Secret Service agents had to break it up.
'Would you bet on yourself against John Kelly if it ever got that physical?' a photographer asked Lewandowski.
'I always bet on me,' Lewandowski replied with a grin before getting into his car.
The New York Times reported that Lewandowksi and Kelly got into the heated argument at the White House in February.
When asked about the incident on Fox News Sunday, Lewandowski said: 'John and I had a very candid discussion.'
According to The Times' article, Lewandowski criticized how Kelly had handled accusations of domestic violence against a former staff.
In response, Kelly allegedly shoved Lewandowski into a wall.
The retired Marine Corps general then 'grabbed Mr Lewandowski by the collar and tried to have him ejected from the West Wing', according to The Times.
Lewandowski disputed that the Secret Service had to break up the altercation.
Lewandowski is co-author, along with Dave Bossie, of a new book, In Trump’s Enemies: How the Deep State Is Undermining the Presidency.
The book details a list of enemies - from Russian dossier author Christopher Steele to FBI cutthroat Peter Strzok to ambitious Senator Cory Booker to former President Barack Obama.
