The teaser trailer for Amazon Prime's adaptation of Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett's Good Omens was released on Saturday.
And the first clip of the hotly-anticipated fantasy series gave fans a closer look at David Tennant, 47, and Michael Sheen, 49, in their roles as renegade demon Crowley and angel Aziraphale.
Opening with an array of blink-and-you'll-miss-it images from the creation myth of Adam and Eve, as well as the life of the Anti-Christ Adam Young, the series sees the pair discuss the oncoming apocalypse.

Good Omens FIRST LOOK: Teaser trailer released on Saturday showed glimpse of David Tennant and Michael Sheen as demon and angel who try to stop the apocalypse
Calling his divine counterpart in the dead of night, Tennant's Crowley ominously says: 'Aziraphale, it’s me, we need to talk.'
Adopting a panicked expression, the angel responds: 'Yes I rather think we do, I assume this is about…' before Crowley finishes, 'Armageddon, yes.'
Explaining that they have been friends for 6000 years, the trailer cuts to encounters between the two characters during both the Roman and Medieval periods.

Pals: The pair had clearly been friends for centuries as they were also shown in the Roman era
Seemingly failing to convince Aziraphale to team up with him though, despite the threat of the apocalypse, the angel blurted out: 'Friends? We are not friends. We are an angel and a demon, we’re on opposite sides.'
But his devilish peer wasn't having it, as he snarled back: 'We’re on our side.'
Aziraphale then pleaded: 'We don’t even have anything in common, I don’t even like you' to which Crowley responded: 'You do!'

The trailer also gave a brief look at how the Spawn of Satan came to Earth, as Crowley is given the baby in a basket by two undead corpses to be dropped at a hospital run by the Chattering Order of St. Beryl, a Satanic sisterhood of nuns.
But in the story something goes wrong, as the child is mistakenly given to ordinary English couple the Youngs, rather than the American cultural attaché.
Cut to the pair meeting in a London park, where Crowley tries to persuade the celestial being, as he says: 'Armageddon is coming then it’s all over, no more fascinating little restaurants where they know you. No more old book shops.'
'We have to work together, it’s the end of the world we’re talking about,' he adds.

Crowley then fearfully says they're 'doomed', but Aziraphale tries and take a positive attitude as he raises his glass and chimes: 'Well then, welcome to the end times.'
The teaser trailer also gave a glimpse at 17th century witch Agnes Nutter's book The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, which accurately described the events that led to the apocalypse.
The novel, and series, follows Aziraphale and Crowley, who act as representatives of Heaven and Hell on Earth and keep an eye on the Anti-Christ when their respective bosses decide to kick-start the apocalypse.

Good Omens was co-written by Neil Gaiman and the late Terry Pratchett in 1990, with each author writing separate chapters and characters, before later choosing to swap and rewrite each other's work.
Speaking to Entertainment Weekly at New York Comic Con, David said of their narrative being recreated by Amazon Prime: 'It's such a unique world that he and Terry have created.
'If anyone else had taken it on, I don't think we could have captured the real quirky essence of it.'
He then said of playing his demonic character: 'There's something wonderful about playing a supernatural character.'
The series is co-produced by BBC Two and Amazon, and is set to premiere on the video-on-demand platform in 2019.
