"Many Photos" - Two pals for ‘quiet pint’ in Cleethorpes and end up partying in Ibiza for 27 HOURS

TWO sozzled mates went for a “quiet pint” in Cleethorpes – but ended up partying for 27 hours in Ibiza.

Ross Tyson, 21, and pal Callum Cook, 22, originally planned to meet to sink a couple of drinks after a long week of work in their local boozer.

But they ended up 1,000 miles away on party island Ibiza with just the clothes they had on their backs, passports and a fanny pack.

Agricultural contractor Ross told Grimsby Live: “I saw a post about Ibiza Rocks on Instagram so I replied [to Callum] ‘what about going to Ibiza instead?’ and Callum replied back ‘Yeah, why not’.”

The excited pair met up at The King’s Head in Tealby booked flights for 6.45am and a night in a hotel at San Antonio for £65 before shelling out for tickets to the Ibiza Rocks pool party.

But Ross’ mum was fuming when she discovered her son had left home at 3.30am with Callum to catch a flight to Ibiza without telling her.

‘YOU’RE SO F***ING RANDOM’

She messaged: “What the f***!!!! Who’s Callum. What people you know out there???? When are you back???? You are so f***ing random!!!”

But calm Ross replied: “Erm I just went for a quiet one last night and fancied being spontaneous.”

When they landed, the pair spent 27 hours partying at the Ibiza Rocks bash before heading to Eden Superclub for its Defected night until 5.30am.

They even managed to squeeze in some time for a walk around the San Antonio bay and down the sunset strip.

After getting just an hour’s sleep, Ross and Callum went back to the airport again for an 8am flight.

But Ross was so taken by the clubber’s paradise he ended up going back to Ibiza a week later on June 14 for his 21st birthday.

He said: “This time of the year we are working countless hours a week, it’s hot weather, and it’s tiring. We have earned the money so we might as well spend it.

“I’d been to New Zealand a couple of times before Ibiza, and I love to travel, so I might as well travel as much as I can while I can.”
