LOVE Island fans think Curtis is playing Maura the same way he did Amy as they spot him awkwardly avoiding complimenting her.

Last night the couple went on their final date and while the Irish grid girl confessed her feelings for the ballroom dancer, he struggled to say anything back.

Maura told Curtis she really liked him on their date but he didn’t say the same back

After briefly falling out over his ‘advice’ to Jordan, Maura and Curtis have made up and it looks as though their relationship is back on track.

Keen to end their time in the villa on a high, they couldn’t wait to enjoy a romantic date together.

And Maura wasted no time letting him know where her heart is at, saying: “I know I don’t tell you a lot of the time that I like you, but I really do. You’re funny and I love your smile. When you smile, I smile.”

Curtis told her: “I’m a very lucky man.”

Fans were left cringing that Maura and Curtis’s date was just like the one he had with Amy

One fan wrote, “Lol ok but did anyone notice that Curtis didn’t actually say anything nice to Maura after her romantic spiel, just gave a cheers to her and thanked her for her compliments?”

“Maura really told Curtis “I really like you.” and he didn’t even say it back. He just went on to say “I’m a lucky man.”

Please get him outta here next.,” commented another. 

While a third added, “Curtis is playing Maura like he did Amy”

“Curtis is playing Maura the same way he played Amy. He clearly noticed Maura never being in the bottom 3 and then when she expressed interest he jumped at the chance to stay in the villa with a fan fav. He’s acting the same way he did with Amy. He’s a snake,” stated a fourth.

Maura told Curtis how she felt and that ‘when he smiled, she smiled’
