BORIS Johnson will be Britain’s first ever ‘Love, Actually’ Prime Minister when he moves into Downing Street with his much younger lover Carrie Symonds.
In scenes that echo Hugh Grant’s character in the Richard Curtis rom-com, Boris, 55, is the first bachelor PM to move a girlfriend into No10 instead of a wife.
Sources today suggested Carrie Symonds, 31, will join Boris in Downing Street “at a later date” – after he trounced Jeremy Hunt in the Tory leadership battle.
Grant’s fictional PM ‘David’ famously danced through the halls of No10 to Girls Aloud’s Jump! after romancing his assistant played by Martine McCutcheon in the popular 2003 blockbuster.
While Bo-Jo may not have Grant’s slick moves, he clearly had no trouble in wooing Carrie – 24 years his junior.
However, the new Conservative boss has remained tight-lipped about his beau and has repeatedly refused to talk publicly about his love life.
He said this week: “I decided ages ago that I just don’t talk about people I love.”
BRITAIN’S FIRST ‘LOVE, ACTUALLY’ PM
The newly-crowned Tory leader is still legally married to his second wife and mum of his four children, Marina Wheeler.
Marina, a high-flying barrister, is currently going through a divorce with Johnson – bringing their 24 year marriage to an end – with his infidelity cited as the reason.
But Boris’ first wife was Allegra Mostyn-Owen, who he met during their time at university when they were both 23-years-old.
The daughter of an Italian writer and an art historian, Allegra had already graced the cover of Tatler magazine by the time she met Boris in the 1980s.
They never had children and shortly after their divorce was finalised Johnson married his second wife Marina.

Various Prime Ministers have had mistresses while serving as Prime Minister – including Lloyd George who had a 30-year affair with his private secretary or twice PM Lord Palmerston, who was rumoured to have died while trying to seduce a maid on a billiard table at his wife’s stately home Brocket Hall in Hertfordshire.
But none have openly had a girlfriend while serving in office.
Miss Symonds is no stranger to Westminster, having been communications director at Conservative Party HQ and a special adviser to John Whittingdale MP.
It is believed she will keep her job at environmental group, Oceana and her flat in Camberwell, south east London, the Telegraph reports.
Miss Symonds flat was thrust into the spotlight after her neighbours called the police when she and Johnson had a fiery row.
It was alleged Carrie was heard screaming “Get off me” during the argument.

But No action was taken and the couple quashed rumours they were splitting.
She was spotted at the launch of Mr Johnson’s leadership campaign last month and is credited with securing him the backing of at least six female MPs.
One ally recently said: “Like Theresa May with Philip, Boris trusts Carrie completely.”
