A DOPEY fisherman takes a puff on dead baby shark which he has disrespectfully turned into a make-shift bong.

The shocking video shows the Aussie man holding the fish which has blood dripping from its mouth and a tube shoved into its head.

The viral clip has sparked outrage from animal lovers online

A second tube is stuck near the infant shark’s fin which the young fisherman uses as a mouthpiece to breathe in the smoke.

The man, wearing a baseball cap which reads Fried Fishing, is shown taking a hit from the bong while the song Babyshark plays in the background.

The clip has went viral after being shared on the Fried Fishing Australia Facebook page.

After a number of complaints, the social media account has claimed they have been visited by the police because of the offensive video.

In a statement, Fried Fishing insisted the shark was not alive while the young man disrespectfully used its dead body as a smoking device.

They said: “Let’s clear some air up on this. The shark was caught by my mate fishing when we were fishing for mangrove jacks on Friday.

“After two nights left in the ice box I came up with the idea. There is no possible way it was alive.

“It was tobacco I’d happily take a drug test to prove.”

The clip has caused outrage from animal lovers online.

SICK AND DISRESPECTFUL

One social media user wrote: “This is the most disgusting and heart breaking thing I’ve ever seen.

“He deserves to be fed to sharks for doing this.”

Another posted: “Oi you are a f*****g sick c***.”

A third questioned Fried Fishing’s claim that nothing illegal was being smoked, writing: “‘It was tobacco’: No one believes you.”
