We know, we know. theCHIVE editors make spelling errors from time to time – even yours truly. Well, we’ve been practicing and are ready to put our skills to the test this Friday at 5pmCST during theCHIVE’s inaugural HQ Spelling Bee streamed live on our FB page. While there will be shots of Mallort and the Sabotage Wheel, we’ll also be raising funds for special education charity initiatives. Tune in to see teams led by John, Leo (my fearless leader), Taylor, Bob and Ben duke it out to see who is the least terrible at spelling.

So tune in tomorrow at 5pmCST as we be pit theCHIVE employees against each other in the first ever HQ Spelling Bee right here at the Chive Headquarters all to fundraise for Special Education Initiatives.

Betting in now open. If a team hits $250 by the start of the event, they’ll all have to start The Bee with a group shot of Malort. If it hits $500 (like Ben’s team already has), they’ll have to wear a costume through the first round. Every $100 donated to a team after that goes towards a spin on the Sabotage Wheel.
