GEORDIE Shore star Sophie Kasaei has done her fair share of tashing on and gan down the toon but now the original cast member has been AXED.
The out-spoken cast member was central to much of the show’s drama, and once did something rather shocking with a make-up brush. But who is she? Here’s all there is to know.
Who is Sophie Kasaei, how old is she and what is her background?
Northern lass Sophie, 28, originates from South Shields, near Newcastle.
This puts her among Little Mix’s Perrie Edwards and Jade Thirwell who also hail from there.
Sophie’s tanned skin isn’t just fake bake – the Newcastle lass is actually half Iranian.
She is the cousin of fellow Geordie Shore star Marnie Simpson, who got very intimate with her during a recent episode by bleaching her bum.
Why did Sophie Kasaei leave Geordie Shore?
There have been a number of theories as to why Sophie Kasaei was absent from the MTV show in the past – and many believe the original cast member was booted off.
In 2013, reports accused Sophie Kasaei of racism, citing this as the reason she may have been kicked off the show.
Sophie returned to Geordie Shore after three years, but there were rumours that she had been removed again after an altercation with new girl Zahida Allen – an allegation which she strongly denies.
She is currently starring in series sixteen of the reality show.
The latest is she has been axed again, as part of the biggest cast shake up in recent years.

After ditching the show in series seven, the reality star turned her hand to fashion design.
Impressively, she’s released her own collections with Off The Rails Boutique and House of SHB.
She’s also lost two stone in weight and has been involved party planning for the Geordie Shore tours.
Now she’s back with a vengeance on the programme and showing the newbies just how outrageous they need to be to keep their place.
Is Sophie Kasaei single?
Sophie was dating DJ boyfriend Joel Corry, though they had some problems early in 2017, perhaps due to an embarrassing Christmas present incident.
Following a romantic holiday with Joel last year Sophie revealed how she underwent emergency surgery to remove an infected abscess on her bum.
But in November 2017, The Sun Online revealed how the pair had split after five years together.
Sophie has always taken a keen interest in her cousin Marnie’s love life, calling her “cheating” ex Lewis Bloor a “scumbag”.
