Melania Trump looked merry and bright as she joined her husband at the Congressional Ball held in the grand foyer of the White House, which Donald Trump hailed his 'happy place', on Saturday evening.
The first lady, 48, dazzled in a white shimmering sequins gown by Céline and made a grand entrance with Trump as the band played Hail to the Chief.
Donald Trump addressed the crowd with a four minute speech celebrating his two years in office.
'It's been an incredible two years, it's been very, very special. No administration has done more in the first two years than the Trump administration,' he said.
'We have so much more to do and again this is going to be a really exciting week and I think it's going to be a really exciting year and next two years. Exciting things happened over the past 24 hours...' he said citing how a federal judge ruled the Affordable Care Act as unconstitutional on Friday evening, which could lead to the undoing of Obamacare.

Vice President Mike Pence and Second Lady Karen Pence were also in attendance. As were Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump.
Melania and Trump didn't linger for long and headed back upstairs just 29 minutes after arriving.
The president was all smiles in his tuxedo and didn't break a sweat as he talked about his 'great' two years in office, despite the looming probe by special counsel Robert Mueller into Russian meddling in the 2016 presidential elections.

The probe has already gone on for 18-months as New York prosecutors examine Trump's campaign spending and donations by foreign nationals and file through the finances of his business the Trump Organization and his defunct charity the Trump Foundation, according to Politico.
And the pressure on the president is mounting as many of his trusted officials have already taken the fall in the probe.
Trump's former campaign chairman Paul Manafort is in jail and his former personal attorney Michael Cohen was sentenced to three years in prison on Wednesday.
Cohen was sentenced to three years behind bars for crimes including orchestrating hush payments to women in violation of campaign laws before the 2016 election.
Trump's campaign chairman Rick Gates is also cooperating with Mueller and is a confessed felon. He worked with Manafort during Trump's 2016 campaign.
The president's national security adviser Michael Flynn actively cooperated with Mueller, landing him no jail time after he offered 'substantial assistance' to the Justice Department. Flynn had admitted he lied to the FBI about the nature of his conversations with the Russian ambassador during the transition period between the 2016 election and Trump's inauguration.
His lied to federal investigators and Vice President Mike Pence, resulting in his firing from the White House in February of 2017.

The Mueller probe aside, Trump saw a victory for his political agenda this week when a Texas court ruled Obamacare as 'unconstitutional'.
Now all eyes are on Roger Stone, Trump's longtime political adviser, about what he knows about Russian political interference.
Stone has refused to testify against Trump in Mueller's investigation.
The Mueller probe aside, Trump saw a victory for his political agenda this week when a Texas court ruled Obamacare as 'unconstitutional'.
US District Judge Reed O’Connor in Fort Worth on Friday said that Obamacare, formally known as the 2010 Affordable Care Act (ACA), was unconstitutional based on its individual mandate - which was removed from the law by Republicans earlier this year.
Trump tweeted gushing about the victory saying: 'As I predicted all along, Obamacare has been struck down as an UNCONSTITUTIONAL disaster! Now Congress must pass a STRONG law that provides GREAT healthcare and protects pre-existing conditions! Mich and Nancy, get it done!'
Obama fought back with a statement on Saturday urging people to enroll for the Affordable Care Act on its final sign-up day.
'You might have heard about a federal court decision on a Republican lawsuit trying to strike down the Affordable Care Act in its entirety. That can be a scary thing to hear, particularly if you or someone you care about has a pre-existing condition. And that's why it's so important for you to know that last night's ruling changes nothing for now,' he said.
'Open enrollment is proceeding as planned today. And a good way to show that you're tired of people trying to take away your health care is to go get covered,' he added.
