A heartbroken young woman was found dead just hours after her boyfriend was run over and killed by a Domino's Pizza delivery driver.
Rugby player Jason Francis, 29, had spent the day drinking with friends and was lying in the road outside his home in Scarborough, Perth, at 8pm on Saturday when he was hit by the pizza delivery driver.
His long-term girlfriend, Alice Robinson, was sitting was just metres away, waiting for him to come home.
On hearing sirens Ms Robinson ran out of her home to be told by paramedics her partner had been run over. He would later die to his injuries.
But then just 24 hours later, Ms Robinson was found dead in 'non-suspicious circumstances' in the nearby suburbs of Mount Hawthorn.

The couple, originally from England, had lived in Perth for less than a year after travelling the world together on holiday.
Friends who had been drinking with Mr Francis said they had put him in a taxi home when he became too intoxicated.
Police are still investigating why he was lying in the road but the delivery driver, who works for Domino's, could not have seen him.
Mr Francis was rushed to hospital where he died with Ms Robinson by his side.
Friends of Ms Robinson tried to console her but couldn't get in contact with her.
They told WA Today they were worried about her since she wasn't answering her phone.
Less than 24 hours after her partner's death, she was found dead in nearby Mount Hawthorn.
Police are not treating the death as suspicious.
The couple had lived in Australia for only a few months, with all of their families still overseas

The young couple had been together for eight years and had just moved to Australia from Shropshire in England less than a year ago.
They only had each other in Australia, friends say, with both of their families living overseas.
Ms Robinson's devastated mother, Dawn, took to social media to pay tribute to her daughter.
'I am devastated to let everyone know that my beautiful daughter was so distraught she could not bear to live without her beloved Jase and chose to take her own life,' she wrote.
'My husband and I now grieve for the loss of two wonderful people that brought light to everyone's life.
'RIP my gorgeous girlie.'

The young woman was remembered by her friends as having an 'infectious laugh'
Mr Francis was a keen rugby union player for the Cottesloe Rugby Union Football Club, whose president shared an emotional tribute.
'Jase and Alice had only been at the club for a short time but had already ingrained themselves into the 3rd grade and 4th grade families,' club president Sam Diamond wrote.
'They could both be found at the multitude of offseason BBQ's where Jase would always do his best impression of a competitive eater whilst Alice filled our hearts with her infectious laugh.
'These are two beautiful souls that we have lost far to (sic) early, and were loved like family.'
Mr Francis' club back in the UK also paid tribute to the young sportsman, remembering him as being generous.
'Anyone that had the pleasure of meeting and talking to Jason, or Franna as his mates called him, would all agree he was one of the most genuine and down to earth gentleman that you could ever wish to meet.'

Police say the 18-year-old driver may not have seen Mr Francis until it was too late, but noted that the teenager stopped immediately and called police.
Stanley Street was blocked off on Saturday night as detectives investigated, towing away the Volkswagen for examination.
