AN ‘arrogant’ Boxing Day huntsman sneered that a throng of protesters were “unwashed and unemployed”, it has been claimed.
The red-jacketed toff reportedly made the remark after being filmed by hunt saboteurs in Torrington, Devon.
His jibe came after dozens of angry locals tried to disrupt the Sevenstone Hunt in St Giles-in-the-Wood.
The protest was organised via Facebook by a group called ‘North Devon against the Badger Cull’.
Shocking footage shows the huntsman brandishing a glass of port as he tells a woman to play the footage by her bedside so “when you wake up you’ll be thinking of me”.
The comment attracted howls of laughter from supporters dressed head-to-toe in tweed – but protesters shouted abuse in return.

One yelled “arrogant”, while another fumed that he “thought he could get away with it.”
The person who took the video later claimed that the huntsman said it was “banter” and went on to call the protesters “unwashed and unemployed.”
Plastic cups of port and sherry were handed out to the group – who sparked fury by reportedly hunting with a pack of dogs.
