A TWO-year-old boy accidentally shredded £800 of cash his parents had saved up to to buy football season tickets.
Little Leo Belnap’s unsuspecting parents Ben and Jackee turned their Utah home upside down trying to find the money last weekend.

They were starting to worry the envelope containing £815 ($1,060) notes had gone out with the rubbish when Jackee found it inside the shredder.
Ben, of Holladay, told KSL-TV: “I’m digging through the trash and she [Jackee] hollers and says, ‘I found it’.
“She’s holding the shredder and she says, ‘I think the money is in here.’”
Jackee said she felt “sick” and “devastated” when she realised what her son had done.

She said: “Leo helps me shred junk mail and just things with our name on it, or important documents we want to get rid of.”
The mum said they had saved up the money to pay back Ben’s parents who had loaned them it to pay for University of Utah season tickets.
Recalling that dreaded moment, she said: “We just, for like five minutes, we just shuffled through it, not talking. We didn’t know what to do and then I broke the silence and I’m like, ‘Well, this will make a great wedding story one day.'”
Meanwhile Ben tried to see the funny side of it and shared a pic of a bashful Leo and the pile of torn-up cash on Twitter.

He told NBC: “Most people they say oh, a kid drew crayon on the wall or something. I’ve never heard of a kid shredding a grand.”
The couple have been told they might be able to get the cash back if they mail it in a ziploc bag to the US Treasury Department.
They’re told it could take two years to get the money back – and in the meantime Leo is banned from going anywhere near the shredder.
