PRINCES William and Harry have been a regular fixture at Sandringham over the years alongside The Queen and Prince Charles.
With the Queen already spotted arriving by train to Norfolk, it’s certain the brothers – along with wives Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle – won’t be far behind. Here are all the most adorable snaps of the siblings on December 25 through the years…
1980s
William, 36, and Harry, 34, appear to have first been snapped making the annual trip to St Mary Magdalene church on the royal country estate in 1988.
At the time the boys were just six and four years old respectively, and were seen walking with their mum Princess Diana, then 27.
A year later Harry was spotted clutching his mother’s hand as they waited outside the church with William, their uncle Prince Andrew and their grandfather the Duke of Edinburgh.
1990s
Things had changed little by 1990 – and Diana even appeared to be wearing the same purple tailored coat and hat.
But this time, it was very windy, and the young princes battled the breeze as they left the church with their grandmother the Queen, uncle Prince Andrew and the reverend.
Fortunately, the weather had calmed down a bit the following year in 1991, and a beaming Diana – this time in a chic blue suit – walked with her sons down the gravel path to service.
In 1992, the boys were seen, wearing matching smart navy jackets and grey trousers, with their father Prince Charles.
The final time William and Harry were seen attending the Christmas service with Diana was in 1994, when it is now known that she was already having marital issues with their father.
By the time they were seen outside the church in 1995, their mum had given her infamous Panorama interview.
Tensions only increased between the boys’ parents and by Christmas Day in 1996 the couple had announced their divorce.
Further tragedy was to follow for the young princes in 1997 when the Princess of Wales was killed in a car crash in Paris in the August of that year.
Barely four months later, a 13-year-old Harry was pictured being handed flowers by a sympathetic well-wisher on his first Christmas without his mum.
2000s
Christmas in this decade appeared to be a much happier affair once more for William and Harry.
The teenagers were frequently snapped giggling mischievously outside of church.
And their appearance also dramatically changed as they grew up.
Before long, they were taller than many of their relatives, and in 2008 a normally clean-shaven William, then 26 and serving in the military, sported a full beard.
2010s
This was the decade that saw both princes become full time working royals, marry and given dukedoms.
In 2011, William, then 29, was joined by his new wife Kate Middleton, then also 29, who he had married earlier that year in Westminster Abbey.
By 2013, Harry – in the middle of his own military service – now sported his own beard.
The Duchess of Cambridge was a regular fixture with the princes at the church service over the next few years.

Last December 2017, the Queen broke with royal convention by allowing Meghan Markle, at the time Harry’s girlfriend, to attend.
This year the pregnant Duchess of Sussex, 37, will be attending as his wife after the couple married at Windsor Castle in May.
It is as yet unknown whether Prince Louis, the third child of William and Kate – who was born in April – will be making his Christmas Day debut.
