New photo Farm workers brave a cold SNAP to rescue alligator trapped under ice

A pair of dedicated alligator farm staff rescued one of the animals after it got trapped under icy.

In heartwarming footage, Jason McDonald and Jay Young can be seen wading into the water at Colorado Gator Farm, in the USA during a cold snap.

After spotting the alligator, Jason, 37, lifted the creature out of the water. 

Having pulled the animal above the surface, Jason then proceeded to carry the alligator, which is barely moving, through the water.

He gets to the shore where Jay, 42, carries it to warmer waters where he carefully puts it down before it swims away.
