ASHLEY Roberts has revealed snaps from her secret holiday with Strictly Come Dancing’s Giovanni Pernice.
The couple who met on this year’s show went on a romantic getaway following the final.
Sharing stunning pictures of their trip to the secluded Turks and Caicos islands, Ashley, 37, said: “Merry Xmas Eve. Sending lots of love and happiness out to you and your’s.”
She went on to describe the moment as her “happy place”.
Yesterday the lovers touched down in the US as Giovanni, 28, prepares to meet his new girlfriend’s mum.
The Italian pro dancer and ex-Pussycat Dolls star both performed with separate partners on the BBC show.
According to pals, they have become “extremely serious” since the final.
They’re so close that the professional dancer is skipping Christmas with his loved ones to be with her.
An insider told The Sun: “This is a sign of just how heavily Giovanni has fallen for Ashley during the three to four months they were working in close quarters together.
“But because of the show’s punishing rehearsal and performance schedule they couldn’t spend as much time together as they might have liked.
“So now that the show is over, they’re virtually inseparable. That includes not wanting to be apart at Christmas, even if that means Giovanni has to make a sacrifice.”
This year’s competition saw Sicilian Giovanni partnered with former Step singer Faye Tozer, who made it to the final along with Ashley and her partner Pasha Kovalev.
Both pairs finished as runners- up to winners Stacey Dooley and Kevin Clifton.

But Giovanni won Ashley’s heart and the couple were seen kissing at the show’s wrap party.
The Sicilian stud previously dated celebrity contestant Georgia May Foote in 2015, but months later the Corrie actress announced their split.
He was recently seen rowing with his ex Towie girlfriend Jess Wright who told him “you’re full of s***” as they screamed at each other at the Pride Of Britain Awards.
