MORINGA is an Indian plant that has been used in traditional medicine for thousands of years – it is known as “the miracle tree” as it contains vitamins, minerals and antioxidants.
There are also claims it can help treat diabetes and cancer. We look at ways it can benefit you, plus we try out some liquid highlighters.

Powder
- Aduna Moringa Green Superleaf Powder, £7.99 for 100g — buy now
Aduna Moringa Green Superleaf Powder is made from the dried leaf of the miracle tree and is 100 per cent moringa so you’re getting all the benefits.
It’s recommended that you have two to four teaspoons of this stuff.
I tried it mixed into a green smoothie. It has a pleasant, earthy, “spinachy” flavour.
Tea
- Natur Boutique Moringa Tea, £3.69 for 20 tea bags — buy now
Natur Boutique, the herbal tea brand, has recently launched a trio of single ingredient teas with flavours from Asia – including a moringa one. I really loved this.
Some fruit and herbal teas can taste a bit sickly and too strong, but I could keep drinking this all day.
It also has a lovely earthy flavour that isn’t too bitter.
Tablet
- Green Goddess Moringa Capsules, £12 for 120 capsules— buy now
If you want a quick fix every day, the Green Goddess Moringa capsules are brilliant. 100 per cent pressed leaf with no fillers or mixers, providing 500mg of premium moringa per tablet.
This is the simplest and most potent form of moringa and given that this stuff contains more iron than spinach and more calcium than milk, this is a pill worth taking.

BUDGET
- Gorgeous Glow Liquid Highlighter Drops, £5.99 — buy now
Glow drops promise to leave skin looking dewy and radiant in seconds. Can be used on their own to highlight cheekbones, collarbone or Cupid’s bow, or mixed with moisturiser for an all-over glow.
I was pleasantly surprised by how pigmented this highlighter is for the price.
The lightweight formula is buildable too, so you can go for a subtle glow or full glam. Fantastic alternative to the luxury option.
MID
- Lumene, Instant Illuminizer, £22.50 — buy now
A liquid blush infused with antioxidant-rich cloudberry and illuminating pigments to brighten and enhance the complexion.
This had a more subtle colour than the others and wasn’t as metallic-looking, however I was happy with that.
It is perfect for a more natural and understated look.

LUXURY
- Iconic London, Illuminator, £30 — buy now
A super-concentrated shimmer that is highly pigmented for an incredible gloss finish.
It is insanely gleaming and even a tiny amount is enough to make cheekbones pop. It is versatile too and promises to add a touch of luxe to any product in your make-up bag.
Comes in four shades so it can also be used to contour. Steep price but everything about it is pure luxury.

To achieve her kick-ass figure, Hayden – who plays cheerleader Claire Bennet in Heroes – follows the ‘quartering’ rule. She eats only a quarter of the food on her plate, then waits 20 minutes before deciding whether she needs to eat again.
Hayden says: “I don’t have a model’s body, but I’m not one of those crazy girls who thinks that they’re fat. I’m OK with what I have.”
Nicollette says: “I don’t like diets – I see it, I eat it! I believe in eating healthily with lots of protein, vegetables and carbs to give you energy.”
