"Many Photos" - World's most-niche housemate ad? Must be happy naked, not wear deodorant, be into healing plants

A bizarre housemate advert seeking a 'conscious female' who is comfortable with nudity has baffled social media users with its strange demands.

The post, which seeks to attract applicants who shun deodorant, emerged on a Facebook housing group.

It rules out employees of corporations and 'fancy' companies, warning: 'We will not get on well together.'

Listing its ideal housemate attributes, the advert reads: 'You will be fine with how you are, and how your body is, naturally (perfumes, hair-sprays, deodorants and other chemical smells and products devised to mask the naturalness of the human body are not welcome here).'

It continues: 'You will be fine with nudity, that of yours, and that of those around you.'

The stipulations were shared by journalist Mollie Goodfellow on Twitter, sparking a frenzy among followers.

As some insisted that the post must be a joke designed to go viral, others accused its writers of controlling tendencies.

Victoria Princewill commented that the mystery writer or writers were 'looking for a woman we can control'.

Tomas De Torquemada wrote: 'I'm worried about the "naked + no deodorant" thing. Surely that will mean sweat dripping from armpits and not being soaked up by clothing? Will there be a slip hazard.'

And Hans Mollman said: 'I would rather go to a category A prison than live with this person.'

The ad's demands led one user to ask whether the house in question was run by a cult as another compared the homeowner to the misogynistic Ferengi race from Star Trek.
