A Massachusetts woman turned the tables on an alleged flasher Thursday after she says he exposed himself to her during her jog
A Massachusetts woman turned the tables on an alleged flasher Thursday after he exposed himself to her twice during her morning jog.
The female jogger, who identified herself as 'Aia' to NBC Boston, is a mother-of-two and a 6ft 1in Israeli military veteran with an apparent penchant for taking down creeps.
'I'm not the victim to go after,' she told WCVB.
Authorities said the incident happened around 7.30am Thursday on Memorial Drive near Vasser Street in the city of Cambridge, a suburb of Boston.
Surveillance video of the scene released by Massachusetts State Police shows the man and Aia running in opposite directions on the sidewalk just after the alleged indecent encounter.

The unnamed female jogger, who happens to be an ex-Israeli soldier, quickly turns around and runs back towards the flasher

Suddenly Aia turns around and runs back towards the accused pervert, yelling at him before grabbing him as he tries to run away.
Off camera, the no-nonsense mom told reporters she eventually tackled the man and pinned him to the ground while asking bystanders and passersby to call police, but no one would help her.
'With all do respect, people, what does it look like? Romantic conversation? I'm holding him down yelling "Call the police,"' Aia said. 'When I was holding him down, he was terrified. He was really really scared.'
When she called 911 herself, the suspect got away.

Police said they don't recommend anyone doing what Aia did, but they commended her for standing up for herself.
'Good for her, you know, I think she put the fear of God in the guy,' an unnamed officer told reporters.
Aia said the suspect appeared to be in his early 40s. He was last seen wearing a dark shirt, shorts, and sneakers.
The female jogger said she doesn't regret taking down the lecherous runner.
'Hell no,' she told NBC Boston. 'I was not ready to see his little d***. ... [If] I'm not going to chase him, he's going to scare some girl and get her all the way down and then what? No,' she said.
