"Many Photos" - Tesco, Asda and Iceland issue recalls for cheese burgers, chicken dippers and Fruit Shoot drinks 

Supermarkets have issued urgent recalls for several items over allergy, choking and salmonella fears. 


The affected stores include British High Street giants Iceland, Sainsbury's, Tesco and Asda


Products being recalled ranged from cheese burgers to Fruit shoot drinks and even dog food.  


Customers should avoid eating or drinking any of the items included in the recall.

They should instead return them to the store, where they will received a full refund, even if they don't have a receipt.

The burgers could contain sesame, which has not been declared on the label, and pose a health risk to anyone with an allergy to sesame.

The burgers will have use by dates of June 28, 29 and 30 2019, and July 1, 3 and 4 2019.


The supermarket is also recalling a batch of Denny black pudding, sold in Tesco stores in Northern Ireland over choking hazard fears as it may contain small pieces of blue plastic.

Popular children's drink Robinson's fruit shoot, sold at Tesco, Costco and McDonald's is being recalled due to concerns children could choke on the lid.


The apple and blackcurrant flavored drinks fruit shoot were sold in 24-bottle multi-packs at Costco and Tesco, and as single bottles at McDonald's between June 22 and 28.


The recall applies to drinks with a best before date of the end of March 2020 and batch code numbers of N06 L9171, N05 L9164 and N05 L9171. 


Meanwhile, Iceland  is recalling its '60 Crispy Chicken Dippers' because some packs may contain pieces of hard plastic.   


Some packets of Shazans Pubjabi samosas, with Iceland stocking 12-pack versions, are also being recalled. 


They have been found to wrongly include paneer tikka samosas, which contain milk that is not mentioned on the label.


They are a health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to milk.


The affected batches are 200g 10-packs with a best before date of end of April 2021.


It's unclear where these samosas are sold but some varieties are stocked in Iceland.


At Asda, company Tan Y Castell is recalling its chocolate chip griddles because of fears they could contain milk, which is not mentioned on the label.


Affected batches have six cakes per pack, a barcode of 5060001830018 and batch codes of 2805, 0306, 1106, 1406, 2506, 0207, 0807.

It's unclear where the chilli was sold, but affected batches either come in six-pack of 1kg bags or 10-pack of 200g bags and a best before date of April 2021.


The company's golden sultanas are also being recalled as they contain undeclared sulphur dioxide. 


Affected packs come in 10 kg, in three-packs of 5kg, in six-packs of 700g, in 20 packs of 250g, and in 20-packs of 100g.
