SICK Arsenal fans mocked Ryan Shawcross after the Stoke City skipper appeared to have broken his leg in today’s friendly with Leicester City.
Gunners supporters claimed the centre-back’s injury was his “karma” for snapping Aaron Ramsey’s limb nine years ago.
Shawcross, 31, slid in to challenge Foxes winger Marc Albrighton just before half-time in Stoke’s final pre-season match.
He won the ball with his right foot, but his trailing left leg buckled alarmingly beneath him with replays confirming the severity of his injury.
In February 2010, former Arsenal star Ramsey, 28, was left with a double leg fracture after a horrific tackle from Shawcross.
The Welshman broke his tibia and fibula – and was sidelined for more than a year.
Former Stoke player Dave Kitson then told the Sun that the animosity between Tony Pulis and Arsene Wenger was partly to blame for the horror incident.
And now, seeing Shawcross in pain, quite a few vengeful Arsenal fans took to Twitter to mock the stricken centre-back, saying his injury is justice for Ramsey.
One wrote: “Ryan Shawcross just broke his leg. You can find me on all good Stoke City football club forums.”
While another said: “Ryan Shawcross deserves that injury justice for Ramsey.”

A third tweeted: “Karma is a… Ryan Shawcross, the man who broke Ramsey’s leg.”
And one wrote: “First the Pepe news, now Ryan Shawcross breaking his leg. Unreal day for Gooners.”
But some Gooners were disgusted by the mockery, with one writing: “I know a few Arsenal fans are celebrating that Shawcross has broken his leg but no player deserves it to be honest.”
