A man has been arrested by police in Spain after the body of a missing Brit OAP was found buried near her home.
Officials had been searching for the missing 74-year-old since Wednesday after she failed to return a hire car.
Civil Guard officers made the arrest after her body was discovered near her home in Algar, a pretty village in Cadiz province in south-west Spain, on Sunday.

The detainee, described locally as a handyman who worked for the British expat, is believed to be aged 45.
Well-placed sources confirmed the dead woman was a British OAP who lived in Algar.
Local reports said she had moved to the home near where her body was found with her husband, but he had died several years ago.
A spokesman for the Civil Guard said: 'I can confirm a body has been discovered in the immediate vicinity of a property in Algar.
'As a result of the discovery officers from an investigations unit in Cadiz have arrested a local man who will appear in court shortly.'
The spokesman said investigations were continuing.
Algar mayor Juan Manuel Guerra said a search for the woman began Wednesday after a car rental firm raised the alarm because she failed to return a vehicle.
The town hall has declared three days of mourning.
The arrested man is currently being held at a Civil Guard station in the town of Arcos de la Frontera.
He is expected to appear at a court in the town later on Monday.
The hearing will take place in private as is normal in Spain where only trials are held in public.
An investigating judge is expected to remand the arrested man in custody pending an ongoing criminal probe.
Well-placed sources said the British woman's body had 'signs of violence.'
A secrecy order preventing officials from making any detailed comment about the case - and designed to protect the ongoing criminal investigation in its early stages - has been placed over the case.
Algar is one of the many white villages in the province of Cadiz.
It is flanked by two of the most important natural parks in the province, Alcornocales and Grazalema.
The village lives mainly from agriculture and cattle, leather and wood products and rural tourism.
It has around 1,500 inhabitants.
The nearest town is Arcos de la Frontera. The city of Cadiz, which is the provincial capital, is around an hour's drive away.
