BBC1’s Miranda will return for a 10th anniversary special for a one off celebration piece this Autumn.
Speaking earlier this week star Sarah Hadland, who played best pal Stevie Sutton, said:”It’s quite a big milestone, we’re all quite shocked.
“We’re hopeful that Miranda will make some more.”
It comes as sources close to the comedian hinted she was keen to revisit the role. A pal said: “It was the show that made Miranda a star and is close to her heart she is passionate about the cast and has spent months organising their schedules so they are all in the same country.”
Fans were left heartbroken when The Final Curtain fell on New Year’s Day in 2015.
And ever since they’ve been eager to hear news of any possible revival for the show.
Miranda tweeted the news on Friday and teased “special guests” will make an appearance in the episode.
